A Field Guide to Scorpions of Namibia
Namibia is renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity, and scorpions are an important part of that natural heritage. With nearly 70 recorded species, including many found nowhere else, the country supports an exceptional diversity of scorpion species. Yet many remain poorly known, and there is no comprehensive identification guide.
This project will combine field research with the production of a field guide book to document, map, and improve our understanding of the country's scorpion fauna, providing a valuable resource for visitors, residents, researchers, and conservationists alike. The Namibian guide will follow the format and layout of the successful Scorpions of South Africa, by the same author and publisher, Struik Nature.
Sponsorship is required to make this project a reality. Please consider supporting, and share with your friends and networks. Work is already underway!
